Connect US students with Cameroon farmers for real-world impact
Born from witnessing the devastating impact of COVID-19 on food security in rural Nso, Bui Division, Cameroon, our founder recognized that emergency food aid, while necessary, could not create lasting change.
Founded in 2022, Shekinah Farms emerged from a simple conviction: communities don’t need handouts—they need tools, training, and technology to feed themselves.
What began as a small pilot distributing biofortified seeds has grown into a comprehensive model integrating solar technology, cooperative development, and Green-STEM education across two continents.
“We are not just fighting hunger. We are building self-reliance, one cooperative, one solar dehydrator, one student at a time.”

Waste becomes input. Crop surpluses power processing. Processing revenue funds more seeds. Communities own the entire value chain.
We don't just donate equipment. We train local technicians to build, maintain, and replicate solar systems—creating jobs and resilience.
Fortified foods meet real nutritional needs. Solar drying reduces post-harvest losses by 40%. Cooperatives earn premium prices.
We empower, not pity. Every person has agency and capacity to thrive.
Local solutions to local problems, supported by global knowledge and technology.
Women and youth lead. Communities own. Benefits are shared.
Environmental stewardship and economic viability in every decision.
We are farmers, educators, engineers, students, and donors working together across continents. Whether you’re in Delaware or Buea, there’s a place for you in this movement.
